EFW2 (CMS Electronic W-2) is not available in Denali
There is no selection for the CMS Electronic W-2 (generation of the EFW2 file) which was available in CMS Pro, but is not in Denali. The only option for e-filing the W-2s is through Aatrix which costs an additional amount. The file generation for upload to SSA should be part of Denali, as it was in CMS Pro.

On plain paper invoice make more room for larger quantity to print
The quantity ordered and quantity shipped cuts off the 2nd number after the decimal point because the font is too large and there is a comma once the quantity goes over 1000. ie: 1,100.25. It cuts off the 5 on the invoice amount. This could be solved by removing the comma as it does not do this in Pro, only in Denali.

Inventory Photo
The photo is only visible if you hit the edit button.... In other words unlike Pro our warehouse employees and office crew would have to hit edit to see the product photo which opens the door for them to modify product info.

By having CMS on the cloud, especially with a responsive design website, The benefits for customers would include:

While enhancing reports, make all fields eligible so we can customize our own reports.
Make all fields available to customize reports. Example: Sales History--add PO#; Inventory Back Order--add Committed; Sales by Item--Add Qty Ordered; Inventory On Hand--Calculate Available = OnHand--Committed; Calculate Future Available = On Hand--Committed + On Order.
4 votesWe are currently evaluating which fields we can “open”, and still maintain system security. Some fields are calculated through database statements, so those ones will be more difficult and require more programming.
We have more and more becoming available with each release.

AR Invoice Digital signature capture
For AR Customers that have to sign an invoice, it would be awesome if Denali integrated with digital signature capture devices (such as Topaz devices) so I wouldn't have to keep a pdf library of all signed invoices.

Please Add the "Average Day Pay" information to customers
1) AR Customer Report should include "Date Created" & "Email Address".

Payroll - Allow user to specify default direct deposit filename
In Payroll - Allow user to specify default direct deposit filename (with the default file location setting) because bank requires a specific name. Might also be beneficial to also add date/time to it, so not over-written and easily recognized.

payroll check printing
WE would like to be able to have the option of printing payroll checks in alphabetical order by last name along with by employee (which is by employee code), check # & department. PR 2012 had this alphabetical option.

Denali Payroll Editing Hours Worked - advance to next 'zero' hours automatically
When have "yellow" fields for zero-hours employees (because hours vary EVERY payroll), add option to leave the "Edit" window open and automatically advance to the next employee that has 'zero' hours. This would really speed this up for those users with lots of hourly employees. Love the rest of the "new" Payroll features!

Add button to print ship to address to label printer from work order or invoice screen.
This would allow generating an address label for small packages or envelopes to be mailed with one button click, rather than typing a label or cutting the address from work order and taping to package.

Pop Up Message Window for Order Entry
When an employee selects a customer in order entry, it would be nice to have the ability for a message window to pop up informing the employee of any information they might need to know about that customer (e.g. we need to get a new phone number, address update, customer needs to talk to a manager, etc.) The message would be entered into accounts receivable and pulled from there.

Address label printing for employees
Having the ability to print names and addresses of employees on mailing labels for bulk mailings (we have several out of town locations) similar to that for Vendor Labels.
17 votesWe are currently working on a csv output for the PR Employee List and AR Customer Contact reports for Denali, and expect to have them complete by the end of the year. This will enable the report to be more usable for mail merging capabilities in programs like MS Word.

OE Entry - allow entry of Quantity first
When entering, we should be able to enter the quantity before the item is entered. When the average person orders; one says 1 hamburger not hamburger 1. The way the system is now; by the time a salesperson enters the item by a numerical code, the salesperson has to ask the qty again.

Sales Print Edit Report
This is for the Denali program. I would like to be able to run this report by inventory code. If this was possible I could see who a part is committed to.
1 voteYou may want to try running the Sales History Report, and use the Inventory Code along with the other criteria to filter the report. That report has many options for filtering and choosing the data.

Alternate Tender Report
More specifically within the reporting options I need a detailed alternate tender report. I'm not sure why the system would have created the ability to create reports on all other tenders while leaving this one out.

CMS Accounts Payable Stops creating and posting of invoices that are zero.
When entering an invoice in accounts payable with a zero amount, it presently allows you to save this without a notice. Once the invoice is posted, you are not allowed to use the same invoice number again. The system should notify you that you are about to save and invoice with a zero amount.

CMS to be Mac compatible
CMS is currently only compatible with Windows operating systems. It would be nice if CMS would have a app that is compatible with iPad's to be able to check AR, AP and BR as well as the dashboards.
