Make User interfaces in Denali expandable
Windows inside of each module are not expandable, making it difficult to search multiple lines at time. For example we can't search the history of an inventory item except for 3 lines at a time. All user interface windows should be expandable and have the ability to minimize inside of their respective modules! Like we have tabs in Windows 7 at the bottom of the screen. Or on Mac computers. User interface design needs to be overhauled!!!!!!

larger font with larger on screen boxes
Need larger font in your software. Also the program boxes are so small on screen. I have changed resolution, text size, and done custom percent scaling and can not get adequate size for my screen. Almost is like you need to stretch those program boxes larger, which in turn would make everything larger without cutting the info off. Which is what happens now when you change the resolution scaling.

We have some changes for the Denali screens as soon as we are able to commit resources to them. Watch for these changes in future updates.

screen size
My staff is getting a little older (sorry but true) and our eye sites aren't what they used to be. The size of column header text and the various screens & fields in general are too small. We have very large monitors and we can adjust resolution to some extent. However, if we adjust too much it just makes all the other programs on the computer look strange. Also, if we adjust too large, many fields in Denali simply move off the "working" box and can not be viewed/scrolled to.

The receiving window needs a vendor item column added.
The receiving window is customizable for columns, but we need another column to be able to be added: vendor item number. So many times I've gone to receive/receive & invoice an order with only the vendor's invoice just to be foiled by not having the vendors part number in the window so I have no idea what is what (unless I have the numbers memorized). It can't be hard to add since the window is already so customizable. (I hope)

Make the font bigger on reports
The font is very small on the payroll checks and all the reports. I would be nice for us blind people if the font was a little big bigger.

We are constantly re-evaluating our reporting formats, and this is a great suggestion!
Many of our customers have requested more information to be printed on the check stubs, so the font size has been reduced in order to fit the needed fields on it.
In the meantime, you might contact our custom report services to help modify your current format to be more readable for you.

Include a "Message Center" to show important information about Denali when logging into the program
When you open Denali, a message would pop up if there is important information like tax updates or a program update available. this information could be updated daily if needed by Cougar Mountain.

AP & BR - GL Account Name/Description Column
We would like there to be a column in the AP and BR entry screen that sits next to the GL#. It should pull the name/description of the GL # used once it's been typed. That way we can check to see if we used the correct GL number at a glance to quickly catch data entry errors.

GL Journal Entry to Display Account Description
During reviewing process of the entering the JE, would click on the Account Number, to see if the right account has been select or not. But the Account Description is no where to be found, unless double click on the account to view it. Can the Description to be display somewhere on the input screen. So that during the reviewing process, can quickly to see if the right Account number has been selected or not.

1. the Field for GL Account is not wide enough. Many times, it cannot fully display the whole account string. We always need to adjust the width of the field manually in order to see the whole account string. Can this field be wider at all time?- Can the description of the GL be listed anywhere on the screen? many times, can't tell if the right GL has been selected or not. The only way to tell is to double click on the GL and that created extra steps.

bank reconcilation Form - allow to MAXIMIZE
Our users need to work with Med/Large font on the computer. When Bank Rec form opens the horizontal scroll is always over to the far right - not showing "Item Number". If the form could be Max if would solve the issue. We do not want to change the font settings, our users will not be able to see the screen

Company name on Direct Deposit vouchers/checks
I've had employees try to use Direct Deposit vouchers to verify their employment. Every time they have been told they are unacceptable because the company name does not appear anywhere on the voucher/check stub. Would be great if it could show the company name and address

choosing text color on the touch screen buttons
I was hoping you could have the option of choosing text color on the touch screen buttons. I know that some of the really dark colors change the color of the text to white but not all of them. I think this would be a handy feature to have that way it gives the user the freedom to pick. It could stay very basic black or white.

You are currently able to change the color of touch screen buttons. Go to the sales module > options > Set Up Item Buttons. Please let me know if you’re looking for more functionality than this.

Make checks customizable without using Crystal - check boxes for Country, ability to move lines yourself
It would be great if you could check a box if you wanted to print the country on your check. Also in the print settings - being able to move the print on the check up a line or down a line. Let the user do it and not have to go into Crystal Reports. I know that's less revenue for you but it would save a bunch of time for the end user!
